The following scanners are currently supported or under development

• HP PhotoSmart  (original SCSI model) only slides/negatives (prints not currently supported)
• Epson FilmScan 200 (SCSI version only)
• Polaroid SprintScan 35/LE
• Nikon LS2000/LS30 (Beta quality)
• Acer Scanwit 2720S (Beta quality)
• Canon Canoscan 2700 (Beta quality)

If you are interested in YAPSCU but have a scanner that is not currently supported please contact us as we are currently looking for Beta testers for a range of film scanners.

YAPSCU can also process raw scan files stored in TIFF format.

Please note that YAPSCU currently only supports SCSI scanners, using the ASPI interface. You must therefore have a SCSI card with ASPI drivers installed to be able to use YAPSCU. (ASPI will normally be installed automatically with Windows if a supported card is detected, or is supplied on the driver disc with most SCSI cards). If you’re not sure if you have ASPI or not, simply download YAPSCU and try it - it will give an error message on startup if no ASPI layer is detected.
