Before registering you must download the trial version and confirm that it meets your needs. When you register your copy you will be sent a license key via email that allows you to ‘unlock’ YAPSCU so that saved images are no longer ‘watermarked’.

What it costs

The registration fee is US$ 36. Payment can be made online using most major credit cards. Payment can also be made by phone or fax - an administrative fee applies in this case.

YAPSCU license agreement

YOU SHOULD CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE REGISTERING YOUR COPY OF YAPSCU. BY REGISTERING YAPSCU YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

License

By registering YAPSCU we grant you the right to use YAPSCU on a single machine. You may use YAPSCU to control more than one scanner, provided all the scanners are physically controlled by a single computer. You may only install YAPSCU on another machine if you first remove it from the old machine.

License key

When you register YAPSCU you will be provided with one or more  license keys which are unique to you. These can be used to unlock the trial version available for download on this site (so that it no longer ‘watermarks’ saved images)

You agree to keep all keys that we send you safe and private and not to allow them to be passed on to anybody else. If you lose your license key(s) we may make an administrative charge for sending a reminder (should you need it to re-install YAPSCU on another machine for example). If you fail to take reasonable care to keep your key(s) private we may  prevent future updates from working with these keys. If you deliberately allow any key to be used by anyone else we may sue you for breach of contract and our loss of earnings.

Fitness for purpose

Due to the wide range of possible PC configurations, we cannot warrant that YAPSCU is fit for any particular purpose, nor that it will operate reliably in any particular installation.

You agree that you have satisfied yourself that YAPSCU is fit for the purpose that you are registering it for, by downloading and running the trial version of the product..

No warranty

The Software is being delivered to you AS IS and we make no warranty as to its use or performance.  We do not and cannot warrant the performance or results you may obtain by using the software or documentation.  we make no warranties, express or implied, as to noninfringement of third party rights, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose.  In no event will we be liable to you for any lost profits, lost savings, or other incidental, indirect or consequential damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, or for any claim by any third party.

Upgrades

From time to time upgrades may be posted on the YAPSCU website. Except in the case of significant upgrades in functionality (where we reserve the right to charge an upgrade fee)  these will be available for download  free of charge to registered customers.

General

This agreement will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. If any part of this Agreement is found void and unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of the Agreement, which shall remain valid and enforceable according to its terms. 

Processing of payment for your order will be handled by Atlantic Coast SWREG via their secure online payment system. Please note that, except in exceptional cicumstances, no refunds can be made once your payment has been accepted. Please ensure that YAPSCU performs to your satisfaction (by running the trial version) before registering the product.

Once you have completed your order you will be sent a license key via email which you can use to ‘unlock’ the trial version so that it no longer ‘watermarks’ the images. The license key will, under normal cicumstances, be sent automatically as soon as your payment has been processed.

Note that the only way only way to obtain YAPSCU is to download the trial version from this site and then register it (we do not currently ship YAPSCU on CD for example).
